DNA Synthesis Control Software
From September 2019 to July 2020 – Development of control software for a prototype organic DNA (protein/enzyme) biologic synthesis system. Linux based c/c++ software modules that handle a large assortment of custom controller PCB boards connected by various serial protocols (USB, RS-485, RS-232). The attached hardware devices include multiple Trinamic motion controllers, along with several other custom STMicroelectronics ARM based device controllers. Also developed a complex multi-channel fluidics micro-valve text recipe based reagent dispensing algorithm.
